The Scruffs Harvard Box Bed is a memory foam dog bed in pearl grey with padded walls, made by Scruffs with older and larger dogs in mind.
The fill is crumbed memory foam, spread evenly so the sleep area stays flat instead of rising into a dome in the middle. The outer is a herringbone fabric, with soft plush on the inside walls and cushion. It has a non-slip base, and the outer cover comes off for the wash.
If your dog is stiff or struggling to get up, ask your vet to check them. A good bed makes them more comfortable, but it does not treat anything.
It only comes in X-Large and XX-Large, so it is not for a small dog. For a smaller dog who curls up, the Harmony Box Bed and Wilton Box Bed both start at Small, 50 x 40cm.
For a big dog who curls up and likes something to lean on, this is the one to get. For one who sprawls, the Harvard Mattress is the same fill without the walls.
Scruffs photograph it with a Cocker Spaniel on the X-Large and a Weimaraner on the XX-Large.
