Green Pantry organises its range by what you're trying to sort out rather than by flavour: digestion, dental, weight control and puppy. That makes it a straightforward brand to shop if you already know the problem.
No chicken, no red meat
Three of the four recipes are built on fish, and the fourth on turkey. There's no chicken, beef or lamb anywhere in the range. If your dog reacts to any of those, that's worth knowing before you look at anything else here.
It also cuts the other way. A dog who doesn't get on with fish has only the turkey recipe to choose from, which makes this a narrow range for that particular dog.
What the names do and don't mean
These are ordinary complete foods formulated with a purpose in mind. They are not veterinary diets, and the difference matters.
The Dental recipe has mint and parsley in it, which will freshen breath. It won't shift tartar or treat gum disease. The Digestion recipe is a sensibly gentle formulation, not a treatment for a dog with ongoing gut problems. If your dog has real dental disease, persistent loose stools or is genuinely overweight, start with your vet and treat the food as support rather than the answer.
Who it suits
Dogs who need a nudge in one direction rather than a diagnosis. It's also easy to trial: every recipe comes in a small bag as well as a large one, so you can find out whether your dog likes it without committing to ten kilos.
Only one recipe is grain-free, so if that's what you're after, use the filter above or look at grain free dog food more broadly.
