If you have more than one cat, it can be tricky to separate them at mealtimes which is why this SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder is the perfect feeding solution! It ensures that each cat has access to their own food only so you no longer have to worry about overfeeding one cat and underfeeding another. Designed for multi-pet homes to stop pets stealing each others' food, the sealed bowl keeps food fresher and free of flies.

It is perfect for cats on prescription diets, or cats that tend to overeat, and it helps you monitor how much each cat is eating. The battery operated SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder reads your cat's existing microchip or SureFlap RFID collar tag, opening only for the authorised cat. As your pet approaches the feeder, it recognises their microchip, or RFID collar tag, only opening for them.

  • Suitable for both wet and dry food
  • Ensures that prescription food is consumed by the right pet
  • Great for pets on weight management diets
  • Works with the SureFlap RFID collar tag (one tag included)
  • Compatible with all identification microchips worldwide
  • Product contains one full bowl, one split bowl and mat
  • Can store up to 32 RFID codes in memory
  • 6 months battery life - requires 4 x C cell batteries (not included)
  • Manufacturer's 3 year warranty

Excellent product

If you have pussy cats that eat each others food, then this is the fix. Now have two feeders, one for each cat, and they are much happier, so are their owners!

Surefeed microchip pet feeder This product is Excellent

We have had surefeed pet feeders before for our cats and they were a great success. Now we have replaced them with the microchip surefeed pet feeders because we need to keep the cats food separate because of health issues, its a great help.A very good product. I highly recommend.

excellent

We have 3 of these which have worked successfully for 4+ years. One seemed a little sluggish, so I reprogrammed it for another cat. It worked fine for a different cat. It turns out one of my cats has a badly positioned or less readable chip. An excellent device, preventing my gannet cat eating all the food. It also keeps food well covered from flies until a cat returns.

Great value

A very good buy. My kitten only took a few days to get used to the feeder and It prevented the my cat who is on a diet from eating kitten food. The learning button was very useful for helping my kitten get used to the closing door.

Disappointing

We have 2 young cats, both prone to stealing the others food and hence bought 2 of these. Sadly I have to say we've been disappointed in how they work for our cats and we still have to stand guard to keep each cat from stealing the others food at mealtimes. They may be designed for grazers or when only one cat is present at a time - I can see that working well. But the design doesn't work well in our case with both cats eating everything put in front of them and both present in the house at the same time. For example, the rear and sides are completely open so, once the designated cat has opened the lid from the front, the 2nd cat can steal food from the back or sides. We have resorted to spending an additional amount per feeder to buy a rear guard which should be a part of the core product. We resented the extra expense but felt we had no option as our homemade rearguards werent doing the trick. Even with the rearguard on (which has helped), the front opening is so wide that there is space for 2 cats alongside each other. So cat 2 just waits till cat 1 has opened the lid and in he goes, thereby stressing cat 1. They are fed simultaneously but one cat eats faster than the other. We had great expectations for this product but sadly could not recommend it. Yes, they are better than completely open bowls and easier for us to referee, but the benefit doesn't warrant the high cost both of the original product and the ongoing need for expensive batteries (which are non-rechargeable).
