The Scruffs Expedition Box Bed is a walled dog bed in atlantic blue for dogs who come in wet and muddy. The outer fabric is water-resistant, so dirt sits on the surface instead of soaking in.

It is made in one piece with a 100% recycled polyester filling, and the whole bed goes in the washing machine at 30°C.

The fabric is tough rather than soft. For a dog who wants something plush to sink into and rarely comes home dirty, the Wilton Box Bed is warmer.

For a working dog, a spaniel who finds every puddle, or a bed by the back door, this is the one to get. The Noodle Dry Mat is worth having by the door too.

Scruffs photograph it with a Cockapoo and a Cocker Spaniel on the Large, and a Beagle and a Labrador cross on the X-Large.

Size Guide

Sizes Medium: 60 x 50 x 16cm (24" x 19.5" x 6.3") Large: 75 x 60 x 18cm (29.5" x 24" x 7") X-Large: 90 x 70 x 20cm (36" x 27.5" x 7.8") How to choose These are the outside measurements of the bed. The walls take up part of that, so the space your dog actually lies in is smaller. Measure your dog curled up asleep. That needs to fit inside the walls, not within the outside size. If your dog is between two sizes, go up. Box beds suit dogs who curl up. If your dog sleeps stretched out flat, a mattress will suit them better.
