The Scruffs Cosy Mattress is a flat dog bed in grey, with two-tone faux suede and a soft plush sleep area. It is for dogs who stretch out rather than curl up.

The filling is recycled PET fibre, which keeps its cushioning and insulates your dog from a cold floor. It has a non-slip base and an embroidered logo, and the whole bed goes in the machine at 30°C.

Two sizes: the Medium at 82 x 58cm suits a spaniel-sized dog, and the Large at 100 x 70cm a Labrador.

It is a fibre-filled bed. An older or heavy dog who needs more support will do better on the Oxford Orthopaedic Mattress, which has a foam and memory foam fill.

For a dog who sleeps flat out and feels the cold, this is a warm, easy-to-wash choice.

Scruffs photograph it with a Labrador and a Golden Retriever.

Size Guide

Sizes Medium: 82 x 58cm Large: 100 x 70cm (39" x 27.5") How to choose Measure your dog stretched out asleep, from nose to the base of the tail. Pick a size that takes their head as well as their body, so nothing hangs off the edge. If your dog is between two sizes, go up. Mattresses suit dogs who sleep stretched out. If your dog curls up and likes to lean on something, a box bed will suit them better.
