Scruffs Chester Mattress Dog Bed - Chocolate Brown

The Scruffs Chester Mattress is a flat dog bed in chocolate brown for dogs who sleep stretched out. The outside is a chenille fabric, the sleep area is a short, soft plush, and it is trimmed with faux suede piping.

The filling is stitched down in four places, so it stays spread out instead of bunching up at one end after a few washes.

It has a non-slip base and the whole bed goes in the washing machine at 30°C. At 100cm long it may need a larger drum than a standard machine, so check before you buy. It also comes in graphite grey.

A mattress has no walls, so it is not the one for a dog who curls up and leans against something. The Chester Box Bed is the same fabric with bolster sides.

For a Labrador-sized dog who sprawls, this is the one to get.

Scruffs photograph it with a Gordon Setter and a German Shorthaired Pointer.
