Bought these for one of my grand pups who has meds for seizures so needs samylin to look after her liver function
Only just started giving my dog Samylin so I am hoping this will help his liver and he has better blood test results in 2 months. I chose the powder and I mix it with salmon oil so he gets the full sachet. He loves it and licks the bowl for ages 👌. Also the cost is the cheapest on line. Kind regards Donna

This product was recommended by my vet a few months ago and there has been a marked improvement.
As previously stated I’ve had these a few months now and this time the packaging wasn’t as good, the box was squashed beyond repair so I’ve had to transfer to a different box and taped the important information from the squashed box on to the new.
Have not been able to see if this is having a beneficial effect as our dog is 13yrs old. Since the removal of the cancerous lump in January, and the report form the vet that the cancer had spread into the liver we wait to see if there's any benefit.
Horrible product. Purchased to replace Samylin tablets, which, according to the packaging, should be administered as a complete tablet, and not crushed, as advised by the vet. Attempting to disguise the tablets in the food proved to be awkward as my dog constantly left them in the food bowl. Hiding them in a bit of ham or similar was also hit and miss. But the powdered version is a large quantity which, when mixed in the food, completely ruined it, both in flavour and aesthetically. Dog refused it outright. Why is it necessary that the powder be in such a large quantity compared to a crushed tablet? Reverting to tablets, devising more methods of subterfuge.

I was recommended Samylin by my vet after abnormal liver enzyme readings. Started on the tablet form and readings normalised - yay! Recently my dog picked up some kind of bug and was vomiting, couldn't hold his food etc so after starving for a day started hom back on bland food - boiled chicken, scrambled egg etc - and got the sachets to keep up the Samylin input. He turned his nose up. So - sachets didn't work for us. He's now eating normally and back on the tablet form (hidden in a bit of chicken) and taking it no problem. Shopped around a lot initially and found the best price here. Delivery is also quick if in stock.
