ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition: Since 1968, Royal Canin has been following the belief that nutrition plays a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of cats and dogs. This is why we have designed ROYAL CANIN® veterinary diets around proven nutritional science in partnership with pet professionals and experts, delivering nutrition for pets with specific health needs.  Some dogs may have nutritional intolerances or adverse reactions to certain foods. In these cases, a specifically tailored hypoallergenic diet for dogs, sometimes mistakenly called an allergy dog food,  can help to support their wellbeing. ROYAL CANIN® Hypoallergenic dry dog food is a precisely balanced, nutritious diet that is specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of adult dogs with a nutrient intolerance.

As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only fed to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7-10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount, especially when mix-feeding.  To cater to each dog's individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Hypoallergenic is also available as a wet food (loaf texture).

Seems to be doing the trick.

With an epileptic cavalier, I have be so careful what I feed him! Ive spent years agonising over ingredients! Hes always been grain/wheat free but recently developed allergies. To what, is a mystery! The vet recommended this as opposed to going down the blood test route and we are now about 10 days in! It stinks but seems to be doing the trick so so far so good!

Thankfully PetPlanet had this in stock and were able to send this out. Admittedly, more expensive than my last supplier but my dog needed it.

My dog loves it.

My dog has had it for at least 10 yrs as she has Atrophy. It works well and keeps her it. She is a 12 yr old Jack Russell and full of beans still.
