As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount, especially when mixed feeding. To cater to each dog’s individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal Low Fat is also available as dry food with crunchy kibble.

Helped with our dogs IBD

We have a Samoyed that unfortunately suffers from quite severe inflammatory bowel disease so we have to be extremely careful what we feed him. The IBD combined with him being fussy about his food proved to be quite a challenge. After a long period of trial and error we eventually settled on a can of this in the evening and the Royal Canin Gastro biscuits in the morning. Every dog is different when it comes to IBD but this helped us get it under control and he tells us he likes it. I wish it were a bit cheaper but it definitely works and other products and combining it with the biscuits helps keep the cost down.

The dog food is what it is (very good!), however the service that Pet Planet provide is superb, very quick delivery with time slots on the day to let you know what the approx time of arrival will be, highly recommended!!

Amazing product

My elderly Westie has long term stomach problems of which there is no cure. Vet recommended this product to help with his condition. I feed this food along with cooked white fish and he is now gaining weight again and has gone from not eating to eating a full meal and gaining weight. Brilliant product and value for money

Good value and the food my dog needs

Our Staffs dog has stomach problems and this Royal Canine dog tins was recommended by the Vets to settle her stomach. Along with the biscuits as well she eats this and doe not suffer as she did do. (rescued dog from a family who fed her rubbish cheap Asda biscuits from a pup...so has these problems ever since) will keep her on this as enjoys it.

Fantastic Customer Service

Ordered some gastric food for our dog before we went on holiday, delivery was running late so contacted customer services to say that the food was urgent as going on holiday in next two days, they then done an expedited next day delivery at no extra cost, our dog then had his supply so we could leave him as arranged with peace of mind. Dog loves it

Very effective for dogs with delicate tummies

My dog is prone to bouts of colitis, usually after eating something that upsets her tummy. Following tests, vet has not found anything sinister. I�ve found that after a few meals, it settles her tummy and I continue to feed her on this food until she�s back to normal. She loves the taste. Service from Petplanet was excellent and delivery quick.

Well worth the price

Our Staffie is prone to colitis and every couple of months has a few days of either vomiting or diarrhoea. Tests by the vet showing nothing sinister, so basically a sick-y kinda dog. We use these tins to slowly reintroduce food once her bout of illness is passing and it's a great way of slowly getting her eating again, whilst being gentle on her system.
