Covetrus Ophthalmic Eye Drops are preservative-free with soothing and refreshing properties, designed to relieve dryness and irritation in the eyes. This gentle ophthalmic solution helps soothe minor eye and eyelid conditions such as irritation, inflammation, dryness, allergic reactions, or photosensitivity. Ideal for home use to manage allergic responses or occasional dry eye, the formula contains no vasoconstrictive agents, ensuring gentle care for sensitive eyes.

Instructions

This product is formulated to treat irritated eyes caused by external agents and to provide lubrication. Apply the solution liberally directly into the eye and clean as necessary. It is recommended to apply the product three times daily, but this can be safely increased to 4–5 times daily if required.

The product is also suitable for use as a lubricant during interventions, provided the operation is not directly on the eye. The solution remains sterile inside the bottle for up to 90 days after opening.

Composition

Ingredients (per 100ml): Sodium chloride (0.85%), chamomile distilled water, hamamelis distilled water, eufrased distilled water, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dihydrate, water for injection.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. Use within 3 months after opening.

Precautions: Discontinue use if irritation develops and contact your veterinarian. For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children. Do not decant into smaller containers.

Disposal: Do not dispose of product or packaging into the environment.
