Calmex for Dogs - 60 Tablets

Amazing. The only thing that has worked with my 2 setter-pointer crosses

We are trying these tablets on my vets recommendation to help my dog with her anxiety issues. The ordering and delivery was great, as was the price. We will continue to use to hopefully make my dog more comfortable..noticing a slight improvement already.

I buy this for my daughters 5 year old border collie. Extremely reactive and anxious dog who's world was becoming smaller and smaller. Despite behavioural therapy, training and dietary measures, he was just getting worse. Walking him was difficult because he would literally scream if there was a noise or they would encounter another dog. At home, he started to react to everything, putting the kettle on, a cough, a sniff, paper towel, taps. It was really restricting them doing practically anything as a family indoors or outdoors. My daughter is extremely calm and patient, she has researched and tried everything but she was losing hope that he would ever settle down. He then started to lose a lot of weight even with support of their vets and increasing his food. I saw an advert for Calmex at our vet practice so bought some for him. It started to have an affect within a couple of weeks. He's been on it for six months now so I can look back and see the steady progress. He is now calm, very happy and a pleasure to walk. Like any other dog, he still may react occasionally to something new but she's usually able to resolve it. As his anxiety dropped, it enabled my daughter to work with him and de-sensitize him to the triggers. The Calmex has been miraculous. It reduces the anxiety to enable you to work with your dog on their triggers.

They do seem to help our over anxious dog.just wish I could get a special price as I buy them regularly and can't see a time when she won't need them. She is four so maybe,as she gets older but right now,they are a great help.

My dog is a staffie these tablets are not 100 o/o of calming him down but they do help him from being frantic and panting a lot he still here’s the firework and wants to hid but at least it helps him

These for my dog, are the most effective I've bought so far. We take our dog on the ferry and drive through France and Spain and these calming tablets work fantastically. He has them 3 days before we go and daily during the journey. Would definitely recommend

Does what it's supposed to.

I have used Calmex for sometime. We recently moved and it helped my 24 year old dog cope with the distress. It takes the edge off her anxiety. Highly recommend.

I gave these to my dogs in the leadup to fireworks night. They still had some anxiety but the tablets seemed to help a bit.

I have an extremely hyperactive 12 month old Bernese Mountain dog and was at a loss. The dog trainer and vet suggested I try these. They do seem to have made a difference. His is still very active but not quite as hyper. For me the only downside is the cost as, according to his weight he should have 4-5 tablets a day. Because it is not a specific time or activity that he needs them for, just everyday hyperactivy it will be quite expensive to keep up to daily dosing.

I have a very anxious shih tzu. I give her Calmex every day and she is much more relaxed. I cut down the dosage at one point to 3 times a week. She was noticeably more anxious so I upped the dose to every day again. I would not want to be without it now

Our dog hates fireworks. He runs around barking and is clearly distressed we normally put his lead on and keep him close when we first hear any fireworks. We used Calmex as prescribed and night by night he grew less anxious on the 3rd night (main event night) he saw and heard the fireworks with very little distress shown. Since that night there have been a few fireworks let off and he barely acknowledges them- he no longer takes them. Leading up to new year celebrations he will have them again but we are confident the stress of fireworks will be gone. Another bonus is he takes the tablet easily they must be dog tasty. I highly recommend this product.

We used these last year on one of our dogs who gets really anxious around Firework night and they did to take the 'edge ' off her anxiety. This year we again gave her the prescribed dose some days in advance and on the evening before Bonfire night, I thought we had cracked it as she slept through everything. I celebrated too soon as on Bonfire night itself, she wasn't nearly as relaxed. That said, neither was she in the utter state of panic that we'd seen in previous years. Would I use these again? Most definitely - and I'd recommend them too - but I do feel there's an element of trial and error to find out exactly what dose might suit the individual dog.
