Calibra Life Sensitive Wet Cat Food is a canned recipe with rabbit, which is intended for adult cats, suitable for sensitive digestion. The complete moist feed is monoprotein and this hypoallergenic recipe is composed of a limited number of ingredients. The composition of the can is herbal and gluten-free, which has an effect on easy digestibility. It contains only 100% of the specified raw material of the highest quality.

The recipe includes the necessary taurine, which is especially important for the function of eyesight and to support heart activity, and cats cannot create it themselves and therefore it is necessary to supplement it.

The recipe contains dried algae Schizochytrium limacinum, which is a source of omega 3 fatty acids DHA contributing to normal brain function, and salmon oil as a source of omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids (EPA, DHA) needed for brain development and function, supporting physiological skin and fur function and their qualities. Omega 3 also has an anti-inflammatory effect.

So glad to have found this!

So my cats have Eosinophilic gastroenteritis & we needed to find novel protein. One has also developed diabetes, so I was really hoping to get an edible novel protein wet food as all the hydrolysed protein wet food reviews were horrific. And they all came in 48 packs & were horribly expensive. I started weaning them on this mixing with fish they have previously tolerated & we're at a 70% rabbit mix now. Do have to add "magic sprinkles" ie crushed dry food but only a pinch. Also use the hand processor & add water to get a better consistency & help their hydration. So happy to have found this food & a supplier! ??

Rabbit being a rare flavour option, and reading previous reviews, I thought my girl would love it. Wrong!! It took her two days to eat half of a tin. Very stiff and chewy mix which she lost interest in. A smaller tin may have been better for her, as she's a single girl, and a change from her normal food. Tin has to be used within two days, so too much waste. Won't buy again.

The only rabbit flavoured food I can find

I had been looking for a rabbit flavour complete cat food for quite some time as it seems to be the only flavour that most well known cat food manufacturers don't include in their packs any more. (I am pretty sure that at least one of them did, many years ago, probably back in the 70s). So I was pleased to find this pate style rabbit flavoured food. I give it to my cats when they refuse the usual common flavours and they seem to appreciate the change. The 200gram tin is a handy size, and I have read that rabbit is a good digestible food for cats so for my me and my cats, it is a good find.
