First time using Pet Planet. Good pricing and efficient service. Our 14.5 year old husky has high liver enzymes and our Vet recommended these supplements to help her. So far so good.
Vets have carried out blood and urine tests, ultrasound and various other procedures with no conclusive outcome on what started then our Border Terrier started drinking and scratching more than usual. He is now on Samylin tablets permanently which is a costly solution. Let's hope there are effective.

I have been buying this for my dogfor a while which is great and beneficial too. However my last order the package and one tablet was damaged. The strips were also damaged so some tablets are opened loosely.
The vet advised that my dog should take Samylin as he has a lump on his liver.

My cocker spaniel was diagnosed with end stage liver cirrhosis 2.5 yrs ago and given 5 weeks to live. She has been on samylin ever since plus ursodeoxycholic acid and I changed her diet and she is still going strong. Highly recommended

My dog has been on these tablets for nearly a month and I'm very pleased there don't seem to be any side effects so happy to recommend them.
Recommended by Vet nurse as can potentially have a calming effect for dogs with dementia. Have given it over 3 days & last night was the first night when we gave it in the evening & noticed a significant improvement in our dog’s sleep pattern. Normally our dog walks all night ( we have a dog cam) We have previously tried prescription sedatives at night time & they have not worked. Just to mention that we have also changed his food to Hill’s prescription diet , Ageing & Alertness Care b/d, so could be the two working together.
