Fabulous cage

I've just bought two of these cages. Absolutely thrilled with the price. Delivery was next day, no charge for shipping. Cage is a lovely size. Well made, looks really nice. My only criticism if any was the assembly instructions, dreadful. It would help is a little sticker on each part, ie, A ,B. Etc. Obviously the second cage was very easy!!

Our rats loved it

Our rats loved this cage they would take themselves home when out free ranging! A castle for 3 rats. So many options for enrichment. - fits dig box etc. Used it as one large active layout with just one shelf for food and then used dividers when a rat was poorly. Used the green hammocks but made simple fleece tops for them and they would snuggle between them. Just about to pass to another rattie owner but wanted to review first.

Was very easy to build, very sturdy. The middle floor came bent but I wasn't planning on using that anyway.

Absolutely massive

Great cage, the reason I knocked a star off isn't petplanets fault or anything to do with the design etc, some parts were damaged due to the delivery driver throwing it on the floor and also having it leant up inside the van which curved a couple of the bars

Terrible assembly instructions

Whilst the instructions are awful and difficult to follow, once you figure out the assembly the cage itself is really good. The fully opening front is a godsend for cleaning out as my last cage only has 2 small openings. The trays are really useful too rather than flat shelves. The cage is sturdy and seems well made. Really happy with it so far but we�ll have to see how it hold up to toxic ferret deposits as the last cage rotted through!
