The Advantage 40mg Spot-On Flea Treatment for Cats, Dogs and Pet Rabbits weighing less than 4kg kills fleas within one day following treatment and can even be used to treat biting lice (trichodectes canis) on dogs.

One pipette should be applied to cats and dogs weighing less than 4kg (equivalent to a minimum dose of 10mg/ kg imidacloprid) and to pet rabbits. This dose will provide protection against flea infestation for four weeks on dogs, three to four weeks on cats and up to one week on rabbits. This product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis on both cats and dogs.

Administration

For Cats simply part the hair on their necks at the base of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.

For Dogs firstly they need to be in a standing position. Then part the coat between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.

For Rabbits part the hair on their necks at the base of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin. Rabbits heavier than 4kg in weight should receive 2 pipettes of the solution.
