My dachshund loves them Doxiedave on 17 May 2021

Ive given one dentastix daily to my mini dachshund since he was young. I break the stick in half and he has a piece after each meal. They are low in fat and no added sugar. Friends told me they are bad for dogs but their dogs have tartar and some have lost teeth! My dog is 7 years old now and on his 6 monthly check up, his vet always remarks what beautiful teeth he has so I thoroughly recommend this product.

Although my vet has told me these chews contain too much sugar I still give them to my dogs a couple of times a week. Two of my dogs have doggy teeth but I feel these chews do help remove the plaque. Pet Planet are much cheaper than the supermarket so would recommend to anyone needing dental chews.

Feeding Guide

Small dogs, e.g. Dachshund, feed up to 1 stick per day.

This is a chewy treat that is only suitable for dogs between 5 kg and 10 kg.

It is not suitable for young puppies under 4 months.

To maintain quality and freshness after opening, use the reseal device. Use within 14 days of opening.

Please consult your vet if your dog has persistent bad breath, as this is often a sign of gum disease. We recommend a vet dental check every 6 months, together with an effective dental care routine, to help keep your dog's mouth in good health.
