The Catit Senses 2.0 Food Tree Slow Feeder is a smart toy that plays on your cat’s natural instinct by making your cat work for their food, preventing boredom and reducing binge eating.

Excellent for Slowing Down Fast Eaters

My 3 kittens get wet food once a day and have dry food available all day. I bought this because one of them seemed to have started to gorge herself as soon as we refilled the dry food, so I wanted to slow her eating down a bit and it has worked a treat. It's easy to fill through the hole in the top, and you do get a food amount of the food filtering down to each layer, but also a lot goes straight through and comes out the bottom, so unless you want to pick it all back up again they do get a small meal without having to work for it each time you fill it up. It didn't take long for my 3 to figure how to use it, and although they sometimes will still sit and wait for us to knock some down for them, they happily use it most of the time. The big plus for me is that it has absolutely slowed down their eating and stopped them from just gorging on what's there. They go back to it regularly throughout the day and will then tell us when it's empty and get excited for it being refilled. Only slight issues I have is that it's a little awkward to clean, and that a fair amount of the food bounces straight out the bowl, so it still does end up all over the floor, but that doesn't really bother me. All in all I'm really impressed with this product. It serves it's purpose of making my kittens work for their food and slowing them down so they don't gorge themselves. Very happy customer.

Sturdy product, great idea

This is a great product, well made, easy to assemble, clean and fill and a great idea to prevent greedy cats eating dry food too quickly. Unfortunately our two boys are too posh (thick)to push.... Can't seem to figure out that they need to put paws in gaps to knock the biscuits down so I end up doing it which kinda defeats the purpose but hey ho, love the dafties anyway ??. They may figure it out yet!
