With 2 large doors on each level providing easy cleaning access, this Rat & Ferret Cage by PetPlanet is a superb, and stylish, dual level cage for rats and ferrets. It is a really strong, superb quality habitat for your small furry friends, providing them with plenty of space to run and explore, while the horizontal wire allows them to climb.

Constructed in metal, with a durable hammer paint finish, this cage comes complete with step by step instructions to make sure you are up and running in no time. There is plenty of room to hang your pet’s favourite items such as a hammocks, and secure door latches will prevent any escape bids. It also features litter guards around the perimeter of the cage to help reduce any falling substrate.

Great cage for our ferrets chrysal1953 on 23 September 2021

Received rat /ferret cage in good time, Some parts had dents but thats to be expected nowadays from couriers, cage was easy enough to erect and took about 45 minutes We were very pleased when it was put together looks nice and once we had fitted it out we had to turn the ladder around on the first shelf because it was too close to the shelf edge later we decided to remove two of the ladders and use tunnels instead this turned out to be a good decision. All In all we are completely happy with this cage and with PetPlanet and our Ferrets love it. Its a shame we couldnt put a photo on the review of our happy little fuzzies ??????????

I bought this for my ferret so that she could have enough space to grow and play and she is already sleeping in one of the hammocks supplied. I wasn't happy with the bare metal rungs of the ramps so I covered them in fabric and my ferret has no trouble going up them but going down them is taking a bit of getting used to. Although I love the cage the instructions were extremely vague and I had to disassemble it several times because I put parts of it together upside down. Some parts also came bent so had to be straightened out with a rubber mallet. Also, putting the cage together and setting it on the stand is difficult on your own so make sure that you have help or you will struggle like I did

Love This Cage Cooling-Towers on 31 August 2021

I bought this cage for my 3 rats after the plastic door on my old cage broke. This is so easy to clean with the fact the doors open wide. My girls love the space. We found it fairly easy to put together, but would have been better if the parts had been numbered. Would definitely recommend this cage and pet planet are fantastic. One of the parts for the trolley was damaged and instantly sent a replacement.

Bought this cage for our 4 ferret x polecats for two reasons. One; the doors open completely - so easy to clean. Two; the vertical bars - the ferrcats squeezed the bars together on their last cage and escaped. We did have a slight problem with one of the doors not being aligned correctly but a rubber mallet soon sorted that. Instructions could be better but not a huge issue. Just need common sense. One thing I would like to have the opportunity of buying would be perspex panels to fit between the bars and side of the tray to stop litter etc falling out. I did have an issue with the powder coating peeling on the bottom tray but Pet Planet were absolutely brilliant and replaced it very quickly. Highly recommend this cage.

The cage is great and perfect for my sweet little rats. They seem to really like it, however, I did not enjoy putting it together. I would have liked the parts labelled, just to make it that little bit easier. It is a lovely cage and delivery was fast. Thanks

Cage is perfect I love it, much bigger than expected however the instructions are awful...the parts weren't labelled like on the instructions so you have to guess which part is which. This is the only Downfall but the cage itself...10 out of 10 highly recommended!

Q: Do you have to put the middle shelf and the smaller shelves in? I want to get this cage and kept my active layout and I don''t want to buy it and find the cage cant be constructed without the 3 internal shelves.
