I bought this toy a year ago and still play with it with my cat. It is chewed, pulled, battered and frayed and, admittedly, the feathers have come off but it is still intact and he loves it. Am about to buy a replacement to keep just in case this one finally gives up but we love it and it is fantastic value for money.

They loved it to death�

These were cute. We were sent the bird and the bug. Both cats adored the bird immediately. Or so I thought. They were actually focusing on the string. Sadly, one managed to bite all the way through within a couple of weeks. Kept the bird as its cute but they dont seem to care. They adored playing with what was left of the string, never failing to engage when I played with them. Until they killed that too. Cue: the bug toy. I would like to say it lasted longer. They loved the toy straight away.. or rather they loved to hold the toy so they could attack the string. Within 48 hours, despite supervision, string was dedded. Im surprised by this as Kong are known for their indestructible toys. Ill bring both the bird and bug out in the future, they do like toys with feathers sometimes, but yeah alas both rods with string are in the toy shop in the sky. The fact they adored it before they dedded it means I didnt mark this down any further. I would hesitate before trying again with this particular item though.
