It doesn't have that Nasty snip,clip sound that some do, so my puppy was not so scared.

We were worried our 8 year old rescue cat would react badly to us cutting his nails, however he was fine when we used these clippers. Great little product, we watched some videos first online to make sure we did it correctly.
